Pure cotton socks are not the best! These two types of socks make the feet comfortable and comfortable

Girls wearing stockings have an unspoken secret – foot odor.

The reason is simple, the material of stockings is not very sweat absorbing. We have over 250000 sweat glands on our feet, and the sweat we produce every day can hold up to half a bottle of mineral water. The foot sweat that has not been sucked away, together with the bacteria, produces the odor of “isovaleric acid”, which even a fairy cannot avoid embarrassment.

For many boys, the same goes for them. If they don’t wear socks or don’t choose the right socks, even if they are changed every day, it is easy to have foot odor.

Whether socks are good or not, their warmth and appearance are secondary. The key is that they can absorb moisture and sweat. Not only can it reduce the frequency of foot odor, but it can also provide a dry environment for the feet, which will not be damp or sticky, and the wearing experience will be better.

So, how do you choose a pair of socks that have good moisture wicking properties and won’t be awkward?

Mainly based on the material

In addition to cotton, there are two other materials to choose from

If there is not much foot sweat, of course you can choose cotton socks, but the higher the proportion of cotton, the better.

Cotton is a very versatile textile material with good moisture absorption effect, comfortable wearing, and low cost as a raw material.

However, one thing that is different from what everyone thinks is that we do not recommend socks made solely from cotton. Because cotton lacks elasticity and has average strength and wear resistance, it may not be very comfortable to wear.

So whether it’s cotton or other socks, it’s recommended to choose a blend of synthetic fibers such as spandex and polyester, which can greatly improve durability and comfort.

You can find its ingredient details on the packaging and product details page.

In addition, although cotton absorbs moisture, its sweat wicking ability is not outstanding. If there is excessive foot sweat, socks may become damp.

A better choice is hemp fiber, bamboo fiber, viscose or modal fiber.

Both hemp fiber and bamboo fiber have many gaps inside, while adhesive and modal fiber have grooves on the surface. Both structures can better help sweat out, completing the entire process of moisture absorption and sweating. Even if you sweat, they can help your feet stay dry to the greatest extent possible.

Hemp and bamboo fibers also have natural antibacterial and deodorizing effects, which to some extent help reduce odors, while viscose and modal fibers have good skin affinity and are comfortable to wear.

There are two more powerful materials, wool and CoolMax fiber.

Wool not only has good moisture absorption and sweat wicking properties, but also can effectively reduce microbial contamination, lock in bad odors inside shoes, and sacrifice oneself to achieve your feet.

CoolMax fiber is a very functional synthetic fiber, with better moisture absorption and sweat wicking properties than natural fibers. It also has the wear-resistant properties of synthetic fibers and is widely used in outdoor products.

Secondly, pay attention to the weaving design

If it’s summer, you can choose socks that are woven loosely and have a thin texture. Their structure is naturally more breathable.

If you sweat a lot between your toes, you can choose five finger socks, where each finger is wrapped and sweat is directly sucked away.
