Monitoring standards for socks by Chinese textile institutions

Currently, over 70% of socks in the world are produced in China. So, what are the monitoring standards for socks set by Chinese textile institutions? The current effective standards for socks in China include:

FZ/T 73001-2016 Socks – Suitable for identifying the quality of men’s and women’s socks, not suitable for pressure socks, warp knitted socks, sports socks, anti loosening socks, etc. Not applicable to socks for infants and young children aged 36 months and below.

FZ/T 73031-2009 “Pressure Socks” – Applicable to identifying the quality of chemical fiber pressure socks, cotton (wool, chemical fiber blend yarn) and chemical fiber interwoven pressure socks, and other fiber pressure socks can be referred to and executed.

FZ/T 73054-2015 “Warm Socks” – Applicable for identifying the quality of warm socks

FZ/T 73048-2013 “Knitted Five toed Socks” – Applicable to identifying the quality of various types of fiber woven warp and weft knitted five toed socks, and other split toed socks and open toed socks can refer to the execution.

FZ/T 73037-2010 “Knitted Sports Socks” – Applicable for identifying the quality of cotton (cotton chemical fiber blended yarn) and chemical fiber interwoven sports socks, purified fiber sports socks, and other fiber sports socks can refer to the execution.

FZ/T 73041-2011 “Warp Knitted Socks” – Applicable for identifying the quality of cotton (cotton chemical fiber blended yarn) and chemical fiber interwoven sports socks, purified fiber sports socks, and other fiber sports socks can refer to the execution.

FZ/T 73055-2016 “Anti loosening Socks” – Suitable for identifying the quality of chemical fiber warp knitted socks (pants), suitable for identifying warp knitted and weft knitted anti loosening socks. Not suitable for socks for infants and young children aged 36 months and below.

FZ/T 35001-2013 “Ramie Socks” – Applicable to identifying the quality of ramie socks (with a ramie fiber content of 50% or more). Ramie blended socks (with a ramie content of 35% or above) can be followed as a reference.

FZ/T 73030-2009 Knitted Socks – Applicable for identifying knitted sock products, other types of sock can refer to the implementation.

FZ/T 73025-2013 “Knitted Clothing for Infants and Young Children” – Suitable for processing knitted fabrics into knitted clothing for infants and young children, including underwear (sets), outerwear, pajamas, jumpsuits, pants, socks, foot covers, hats, bibs, belly circumference, gloves, sleeping bags, scarves, bedding, etc.
