How to wash socks
- It is best to wash the socks immediately after taking them off. Even if you do not wash them, it is best to soak them in soapy water or laundry detergent. This way, the dirt on the socks can be easily cleaned and will not easily stick to the socks and cannot be washed off.
- It is best to wash socks separately, especially not with underwear, because fungi on socks can easily transfer to underwear, so socks must be washed separately to avoid cross-infection.
- Clean both sides of the socks. Some people wash their socks according to how they look after taking them off, and only wash one side. This makes it easy for the socks to not be clean.
- After washing, soak in hot water for three minutes. Bacteria are not easy to kill. Soaking them in hot water for three minutes can kill 80% of the bacteria, so socks can be cleaned very well.
